Situated amidst the rugged rocks, the emerald waters of the sea and the azure sky the pristine beach of Agios Ioannis is actually made up of three smaller beaches. While the first beach is accessible by car the other two beaches are remotely secluded and very difficult to access. In order to visit the two smaller beaches one must carefully pick his way down the steep rocky cliffs but the fine sand and the emerald waters make it all worth the "trouble". All three beaches are totally unorganized therefore visitors must arrange for all necessities.
