There are two beaches at the area of Stenies on the east coast of Andros, called Ebros Gialia and Piso Gialia (meaning front and back coast respectively in Greek) which are only a few minutes walk one from another. From Andros town you will follow the road to Niborio and take a left towards Stenies. Ebros Gialia is a pebbly beach and there is also a tavern on it. Piso Gialia is a sandy beach. Both beaches are popular and, as such, crowded in summer.
