Kastani is maybe the most famous location of Skopelos, due to the fact that many scenes of the "Mamma mia" movie were shot here. The beach is quite and has little pebbles among the white sand, while it is surrounded by rocky cliffs covered with pine trees that hang above its turquoise waters. Drivers must be very careful while arriving at Kastani, since the last 500 m. of the road that lead to the beach are not covered by asphalt.
