Andros Mythology
Anios, king of Delos, son of God Apollo and Rhious, had three daughters and two sons whose names were named Andros and Mykonos. Each one of them gave its name to the island were he reigned over. Andros Island had other ancient names as well, such as Ydrousa (because of the abundance of water) and Lasia (meaning lush).
