Mythology
Donousa
Returning from Crete to Athens, Theseus and Ariadne, daughter of Minoas, stopped at Donousa. God Dionysus who lived on it fell in love with her and Goddess Athena ordered Theseus to leave Ariadne on the island so that she got married to Dionysus. And eventually Ariadne stayed on Donousa with Dionysus.
