Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos” recently launched an innovative website, offering a pioneering digital experience to its visitors.
The design conception (A-Live Airport) aims to convert user needs into an authentic experience while establishing Athens International Airport’s online presence as Greece’s digital travelling Gate.
The new full screen resizable website is developed in HTML5 featuring tailored pictograms and responsive elements. Moreover, the design is inspired by the awarded airport’s internal infrastructures and touch-device technology foreseeing future user trends.
The time lapse video is subtly combined with transitional effects to welcome users to the website’s targeted content from the welcome page to the home page, creating a powerful impact on visitors about the airport and city life. The video scenes, which constitute the first of a series to follow, are urban oriented promoting Athens as a vibrant starting point to discover Greece.
