Golden, white, exotic and tranquil, lacy and secluded, fully organized or remote, the beaches of Greece have conquered the world. Greece ranked 3rd out of 50 countries for the most ‘Blue Flag’ Beaches worldwide counting 395 beaches and 9 marinas in total for 2015.

Despite the common belief that the beaches of Greece lack sanitation facilities, infrastructure and services, it has been proven once again that our beaches are not only breath-taking but also worth of the Blue Flag as they certainly meet the strict criteria related to water quality, environmental education and management, safety and services.
